110 CELEBRATIONS

SHORTENED 110 CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEES REPORT

The meeting was held in Bloemfontein on the 15 and 16 August 2008. Issues put for discussion were discussed positively and constructively, even though the attendance was good. Members who were present made the meeting a success story. Members were motivated and were very much willing to work for the good of PCA.

NIVERSARY BUDGET

The meeting agreed the money raised is going towards the building of a central office, by that we will be fulfilling the dreams of our past or present moderators, this recommendation was taken unanimously. The target was three million rand.

The meeting recommended an opening of a separate bank sub-account from that of the General Assembly. To kick start the whole project of fundraising, a sum of R80 000 was recommended as an operational budget.

The meeting recommended that the office of the General Assembly to assist the committee by applying for the fundraising number (NPO). The meeting recommended a moratorium from selling church memorabilia except for the fundraising committee and marketing committee, the committee urged PCA members to respect the decision.

Anybody who can compose a song about this great coming event is invited whether she/he is within our church or outside our church, as long as he/she is credible.

The committee recommended the building of a monument in honour of the founder of this church: Rev. M.J. Mzimba, and the unveiling be done during the celebrations.
